Why the name you ask? I am finally taking my life forward after living with Parkinson's disease for a few years now. It is now my turn to give back to the community, so your organization can take your web initiatives forward.

Why free you ask? I have been in the IT industry for many years now and even know I can no longer work because of Parkinson's, I cannot give up developing software as it is a passion of mine. I also consider myself very fortunate, and I want to give back to help others with chronic disease or disabilities. Working for free allows each of us to set realistic expectations on what I can and cannot achieve. For my own health I need to work at my own pace, keep the stress at a manageable level and not let money effect the working relationship I develop with my clients.

Who are my ideal clients? I prefer to work with health related non-profits (charities). Charities that are willing to embrace the web as an effective medium to disseminate information to advocate and advance those lives with disabilities and chronic illnesses. I like to work with these charities to find new way of using technology to save money. The net results are to have the money redirected back into client services.

What about databases and maintenance? Not only will I work with you to develop your website, but I will also be your single point of contact for ongoing maintenance. For a website to be effective, it must be updated with new content periodically. I like to continue to work with my clients and help take advantage of technology when they are ready, such as adding online donation capabilities and membership databases.
