About Dan

I have worked in the IT industry for almost 20 years before retiring in October 2006 due to Parkinson's. During the last several years, I worked for Microsoft as a software developer.

Over the years, I have worked extensively with databases and then progressed to writing E-commerce websites in the late 90's. I have toured Canada numerous times as a guest speaker on a wide range of topics relating to using Microsoft technologies. I am also a author of a couple of E-commerce books.

I am currently focusing on creating and maintaining websites for health related non-profits. For each of my clients I will continue to help them understand technologies and how to use the web effectively to save funds that can be redirected back into client services. In addition, I provide advise on how to use the web as an effective tool to disseminate information.

As my clients become more comfortable with the technology I will work with them to add addition functions such as online donation capabilities.
